I pledge.....

"That for 2 months I will refashion, renovate, recycle pre loved items for myself for the term of my contract, I pledge that I shall create and craft items of clothing for myself with my own hands in fabric, yarn or other medium for the term of my contract"
I've gone and done it now!
It is a great blog, check out /wardroberefashion/ for lots of inspiration! I simply can't afford new clothes for myself anyway, and do have alot of stuff piling up at the back of my wardrobe that really needs something doing with. This also means I'm on a fabric diet - apart from 'work' fabric needed to make san pro and nappies, but it does mean I can use whats in my stash, both fabric and yarn!
Currently in the works is a new school bag for Andrew, I did buy fabric for this but it doesnt count cos that was back in december! I am however, recycling the strap, velcro and inner pocket from his old bag, and using stash fabric for the inner. Will post pics hopefully over the weekend. I'm also knitting myself a scarf from wool that has been in my yarn stash for a while. Again, will post pics when I can.
